Mr. Steinmark joined Castlelake in 2021 as European Head of Aviation Lending & Capital Markets. In his dual role, he is focused on providing tailored aviation lending solutions to Castlelake’s European counterparties and raising debt capital for the firm’s Specialty Finance and Diversified Assets strategies in the region. Prior to joining Castlelake, Mr. Steinmark was with Deutsche Bank in New York and Frankfurt for 14 years where he held various positions in banking, structuring and syndicate. Most recently, he was a member of the Transportation ABS team with a focus on origination and syndication of private credit transactions. Mr. Steinmark received an M.A. in strategy and international management and a B.A. in business administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
